As a normal human being, the state of anxiety is always present though in a very mild form. At times, this turned into a constant bout of anxieties that almost seemed unbearable and thus resulting in what we know as anxiety disorder. There are many contributing factors to the causes of anxiety disorder.
Many doctors, therapists and psychiatrists have different theories regarding what the causes of anxiety may be. Some state that genetics may be the key to understanding anxiety disorders. Others state that it arises from circumstances thus making it a learned behavior. Still others have no real idea as to why anxiety is caused in the first place.
Abusive use of medicines can more often than not, result in the rise of
anxiety attacks as is the chances of a persons weak mental as well as physical conditions that he or she is in. Though the above causes may not singularly cause such damage, the combinations of one or more may be the reason behind the cause of such depression.
Some of the causes of anxiety are due to certain mental conditions and these may also include other types of anxiety disorders like panic disorder. Then there are the physical conditions that may give rise to anxiety. Palpitations, and shortness of breath are all considered to be causes of anxiety. The symptoms of anxiety panic disorder include pounding heart, weakness, feelings of being faint, and dizziness. Your hands may feel numb or they may tingle. You will experience chest pains, smothering sensations, a sense of unreality. All of these feelings may lead you to believe that you are having a heart attack, a stroke or even dying.
Side effects of drugs is another major factor in causing anxiety in the patients. Some drugs are used as medications for certain illnesses and some are illegal drugs such as cocaine.Stress is another big factor in causing anxiety. It is common knowledge that stress may arise from work, from school, stress from financial and illness as well as stress from relationships both professional and personal.
Medical issues may also contribute to the constant attacks from anxiety. Some of the more common causes are an overactive thyroid muscle and heart problems in the form of abnormal heart beat rhythms and mitral valve prolepses. Caffeine based drinks such as coffee as well as amphetamines may also contribute to anxiety attacks in the sufferer.
Generally, when a sufferer wield to the attack of anxiety disorders, it is normally between a few minutes to 10 minutes. Some extreme case of sufferer has had attacks for an hour or more but this is only in very rare cases.
As we may never really know the exact reasons why anxiety develops the exact causes of anxiety are still a mystery. Hopefully one day we will understand this complaint and be able to treat it before it becomes a serious problem.
