OK, so you want to build muscle and get a great body? But are you bodybuilding and getting the results you want?

When I started working out, I was working out hard, 6 or even 7 times a week.

I wanted to build muscle. So I worked out hard, followed the advice of friends, and even followed the advice of the gym instructor.

But you know what the problem was? After 10 months of training at the gym, I couldn't put on muscle in a noticable way no matter how hard I worked. Annoying or what!

That's when I started looking for answers.

2 of the major keys to success are:

1. To train for the correct duration per day. If you overtrain, then your muscles do no have any chance of recovering and rebuilding and hence you always break down muscle. If this happens, they don't get big.

Trust me, I learnt the hard way!

2. Using the right amount of time between sets and supersets. What I mean is, there are programs where you actually vary the time between sets over the weeks so that your muscles never get used to the same pattern. And so the stimulation is stronger and you'll see your muscles get bigger before your eyes.
